Meet our in-house Company Medical Officer
Dr Sperber has been working in occupational medicine since 2001. He has been a Consultant Occupational Physician since 2005 and is a member of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians (MFOM).
He provides occupational health advice to a wide variety of employers, of differing sizes and across most industries, from blue-chip companies to public-sector organisations. This includes supporting HR, employment lawyers and Management with regards to sickness absence management, health-related employee performance management, health surveillance, new starter health screening, health promotion, and ill health retirement in the workplace, as well as other aspects of employee health management.
In addition to providing support for individual employee case management, He also supports organisations with regards to corporate strategy and policy for health-related issues.
Alongside his extensive experience of advising Managers and Human Resources professionals, Dr Sperber has been involved in teaching and training doctors who wish to specialise in occupational medicine and has been engaged in promoting occupational health through his time on the Occupational Medicine Council of the Royal Society of Medicine, where he was Honorary Treasurer.
